Theme:
Good Vs. Evil
I think the best theme for the story would be Good Vs. Evil. They are the main reason for all conflict in the story and the reason something has to be resolved. This relates to other things in real life like God and the Devil. Or Heaven and Hell. Two battling forces but the good comes out on top. Luke would represent God in the story and Darth Vader & the Emperor would be the devilish figures.
